Many of you may be asking yourself why live in Florida and not California or Arizona? Well here are just a few reasons why:
1. We have superior weather!
Yes, you will notice from the this map that we not only have the warmth of California and Arizona, we also have Humidity! That is right humidity, when we are 100 years old and not all dried up and wrinkled it will be because of our good friend humidity.
2. The circle of life!
I guess this is like two benefits in one cause as a result of all the moisture and humidity we have the second highest population of mosquitoes, the highest being the Amazon, I personally think that is only because there mosquitoes are larger and not as numerous. Thus being part of a very successful circle of life these little nuisances complete the food chain.
3. Spanish Moss?
Oh yeah baby, you plant a tree and before you know it your shade is increased ten fold by the natural coverage of none other than Spanish Moss! Got to love it! Ain't gonna see that in the Desserts of Arizona, no sir.
4. Alligators
I often wonder how it is that other states live without the company of these soft and cuddly creatures. Yeah they may eat your dog or small child, but come on they are so cute!
Well we are scheduled to close at 4:00 P.M. today and that will make it official as we will become land owners of one of the most unique and best states in the union!
Please no haters! J/K I welcome comments, they kind of make me get a warm and fuzzy feeling inside.

Moving Day, Sorta?
OK, so as much as I would like to say it has been all peaches and cream, it hasn't. But that is alright. We were scheduled to close on Friday and the underwriters held things up, so late Friday they figured it out and we got the final go ahead. Sucks to be down to the wire like this and have that happened, but what can you do?
This is where we are at:
We are waiting on the closing, which is either 3:00 P.M. today or tomorrow morning depending on the mortgage company.
I am praying it will be today because we already giving notice, had to be out of our current town house this weekend.
How did we do this you ask? We rented the biggest Penske truck we could and put everything we own in it. Now it is sitting on the street waiting to be unloaded. We spent the night with our Pastor last night and are now officially homeless till we close. I don't like it, but here again, what can you do right?
Anyway, amidst mental and physical exhaustion I write you this update.
My good friend Sean and I loaded everything up yesterday and we finally finished at about 11:00 P.M.
Keep us in your prayers today and I will let you know if we close today as soon as I know!
A Batter Batter Swing Batter!
Jayden had his first official baseball game on Saturday and while he did not get a hit, he did have a good time playing. The only thing that bummed him out was the fact that he was last in the line up. Once he got over that it was all good. Finally, he won and is on a really good team with a great coach. I think the score was like 18 to 3 so he may not have hit, but he got to smell the sweet scent of victory!

I fought the law and I won?
I know I have used one in the past and yet I am baffled? How is it that we are able to purchase radar detectors legally in the open market. They are devices which allow us to beat the law, by detecting that they are trying to catch us breaking the law?
OK, so if I put a detector on the market that detected when police were going to raid a meth lab and started to sell it, I would be in jail faster than you could say Sudafed.
Finally, I am in awe of how far technology has come. The radar detectors are now used in conjunction with GPS to track you route to see common false alarm areas, track habitual stake outs, and to measure your speed to set sensitivity. Crazy

Why Watch Heroes?
I have one question, why would anyone watch Heros when we have so many Godly heroes around us?
For instance Carlos Whittaker, this fine young man is as real as they come. Through his blog you can learn about current events, see what true discipleship looks like and really read about as transparent a guy your gonna find in blogisphere!
If you have not been to his blog I recommend you go cause I don't think enough people read his blog and he definitely does not post enough.
Finally, he rekindled the fire in us to move forward with our adoption process so we decided we are going to go to the Whitaker's house in Riverside and crash for a week with our new daughter and three boys. OK, so we have not been officially invited yet, but I am sure it will happen.
If not we will rent an RV and camp out front like cousin Eddie and have a couple of candle light vigils in honor of them.
If you get a chance visit Carlos and his amazing Blog he is a true encourager!

CORNY, NOT SO MUCH!
I can remember someone saying to me I look at my grown children and seeing them when they were Two years old and laughing. I would think to myself what an old geezer how corny is that then I got this! Yeah they are pics of Hudson Rob's son.
All I could see is Rob when he was a wee little one and think of Jared when he was two. Well I am sitting here while he sits on the couch with HIS GIRLFRIEND and wishing he was that age again. I love him so and really miss him jumping on my lap!

The Underdog No More!
I remember being a young man and riding my bike through the Apple parking lot, little did I know that I would be a Apple Guy. That said if you have not seen it Steve's Keynote address on the on Mac World 2007 is a must see. My favorite part is the introduction of the Iphone. Mainly because they did not get it and Steve had to repeat himself several times to get them to understand, phone, wide screen video player and internet device all in one not three separate devices. The Prayer
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen
I am not sure if you will recognize this second part of the prayer, but it seems to be the most often missed yet most relevant to my life.
The first half I am sure you can quote verbatim:
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
This is most commonly quoted in a such an anecdotal way that the true meaning of God's margin in our lives is often missed for some ho hum woo is me God grant me serenity because I can't do it feel sorry for me prayer. Truth is taking this sinful world as God has means loving when you don't want to, being patient when you have none and surrendering to God when you don't want to! Harsh, maybe, but I tend to be tough on myself. Oh, you thought I was talking to you?????

How could anyone be lonley?
OK, if you are feeling lonely I have the solution. Open an e-mail account and within hours you will have more friends than you know what to do with! Take me for instance. This morning I opened my Entourage and what to my surprise I had fifty e-mails from mid-night to today? Only two of them were junk and another hundred went into spam so the remaining 44 must be all my friends. I know what your thinking, boy is BMAC popular, right? Wrong, I actually have two that are actually wanted. Now to all of you advice givers out there, I am using Spam software, have my Entourage filter on High and can't change my e-mail address cause it is my name. So, I guess I will remain the popular guy I am for now and who knows I might just get a Prince from Egypt to ask me to hold his ten million dollars for him in exchange for a few million?

Mi Casa Su Casa
Well it is almost done, the only thing left is to put in the bathroom mirrors and clean up! I have to say I was so excited today as I walked through this Home it is such a Blessing. It is the first time I have ever owned a Brand New Home!
I know I have said this before, but compared with the cost of living we had grown so accustomed to in Oklahoma it is nothing short of a miracle that God has made the way for us to purchase a home in Florida. Besides many obvious obstacles He had to overcome, there was Homeowners Insurance in a state with multiple hurricanes in prior years! Then we have property taxes which are four to five times what they would be in Oklahoma, Ouch! Bottom line, God will never lead you where He can't keep you!
I am going to start a tab on my blog for reservations for all of you wanting to come and stay with us and enjoy the beach and weather, so reserve your slot now or you will be missing out! J/K
Here are a few pictures I will post more after we close next Friday! Oh yeah and the chandelier is not for sale that is Rachel's favorite feature of the house.

OK, So I have been a little on the lame side when it comes to blogging. First, because my keyboard was jacked on the PowerBook and I had to replace it. Second, I had wanted to do a new template. It is almost done the only tab I have not completed yet is the photo tab, other than that I would like to know what all three of you that read my blog think? J/K Seriously, your feed back would be appreciated!

PURPLE RAIN
OK, So yes I sold programs at the Super Bowl from 4:00P.M. to 6:20P.M. and yes I did get to watch the Super Bowl for free in a seat in the Bears End Zone! It was an incredible experience and one I am going to repeat year after year! We are definitely going to Arizona next year and it will be here the year after. What can I say it was an incredible experience, even in the midst of the monsoon it was amazing. It is funny cause I went in cheering on the Bears and by half time it did not matter any more it was just the experience of being there. We saw a ton of celebrities, Todd and My brother Darin went with me. Todd and I had Alec and Billy Baldwin walk by us! Todd got into a spat with Alec it was hilarious, only Todd! Well, unfortunately I forgot my camera and took all the pictures with my phone and worse yet I messed up and had it set for the lowest possible quality picture, Sorry :-) Finally, Prince rocked that guy was incredible considering the fact that it was freezing and raining cats and dogs he was unfazed unbelievable. Well next year I wont forget my camera! Enjoy!
