Life is one big transition. You transition in and through then out of life. Right now we are getting ready to pack up the family and move to a place very different from the one we live now. I think about the transitions that led us to this point and remember the people who have impacted our lives along the way. Mainly Rachel's Mom Nita, one because today it is the five year anniversary of her death and two because she was an amazing woman who really caused me to realize what it means to be a man, but more importantly what it means to have a relationship with God. Alas, that was a key yet to be turned in the door to my heart and let me tell you once it was, it changed everything in me.
As we go through this new day of transition, I have to say I miss her vote of confidence. Even though I never did anything to earn it.

Requiem For A Day Off
Now knowing the title of this blog and knowing that, Yes I love the movie Ferris Buellers Day Off. I am posting this video cause one it is great and two it just shows how adding different music, like "Lux Aeterna" to this video completely changes the perspective. All I have to say is pretty cool!
Very Cool
This is a great video and in no way would I ever support the lottery, except artistically!

Feel sorry for yourself? Ask yourself this question, How long would I be dead before someone noticed!
THE remains of a woman have been found sitting in front of her TV - 42 years after she was reported missing.
Hedviga Golik, who was born in 1924, had apparently made herself a cup of tea before sitting in her favourite armchair in front of her black and white television.
Croatian police said she was last seen by neighbours in 1966, when she would have been 42 years old.
Her neighbours thought she had moved out of her flat in the capital, Zagreb.
But she was found by police and bailiffs who had broken in to help the authorities establish who owned the flat.
A police spokesman said: "So far, we have no idea how it is possible that someone officially reported missing so long ago was not found before in the same apartment she used to live in.
"When officers went there, they said it was like stepping into a place frozen in time.
"The cup she had been drinking tea from was still on a table next to the chair she had been sitting in and the house was full of things no one had seen for decades. Nothing had been disturbed for decades, even though there were more than a few cobwebs in there."
Neighbours were shocked by the discovery.
Jadranka Markic was nine when Hedviga "vanished".
She said: "I still remember her. She was a quiet woman who kept herself to herself but was polite. We all thought that she had just moved out and gone to live with relatives."

Fishing
I was reading this article about a guy who fishes three times a week and thought to myself this must be a professional fisherman. As I continued to read I learned he also worked a full time job. Then I thought he must be a single guy. Read on and he is married. I then thought he couldn't have a family and surprise, surprise he has a bunch of kids. Now I am not trying to be mean here, but how in the world does he find the time to fish once a week, much less three times? I could not figure it out I was in awe. I thought it was maybe just my household, but living with Jeff who also has three boys, I see he has no time to fish either.
The point of my story is this, I thought that I would love to see the day when I could have the time to fish. Then I realized I really wouldn't cause that would mean I did not have my wife and children filling in that fishing time and quite frankly I like that I don't have time to fish and would rather be spending my time with them cause they are the best. OK, maybe once a year!

If my goatee could talk
This is my goatee if it could talk it would say...
I know what a iced venti Americano tastes like.
I hate kids pulling on me.
I love the blond who plays with me;-)
I need my dead ends cut.
No hot irons!
People who stare annoy me.
Yes, I am natural no added colors or preservatives.
If you were this long you would get food caught in you too.
Please don't cut me down!
I hate it when he smokes cigars the smell stays with me for weeks.
Short goatees are for bearded women.
It is really soft like a Brillo pad.
Finally, everyone may not say it but I know they all want to touch me.

THE MOST INCREDIBLE AND EXHAUSTING
The past two weeks have been filed with so much blood, sweat and tears. As most of you know I started a new job with the most amazing Church. It started off rather slow the first day and by the third it was full bore insanity. I was in the middle of the last two weeks of a major transformation of the Church, including a name change from Faith and Victory to Reimage. Along with that went a complete redesign of the sanctuary, stage, lighting, media and website. I along with our new Sthyle Director were blessed to have done a great deal on all the aspects. I was able to produce an opening video to represent the change along with producing all the media for presentation on two new GIANT screens we purchased. We had two services and it went amazing all I can say is God is GEWD! Now the real work begins to meet all the expecations set forth with the beginning of this change. All that is left is to SELL my house and move my family up here, which I pray happens soon! I will include more pictures soon...
