Moving Day, Sorta?

OK, so as much as I would like to say it has been all peaches and cream, it hasn't. But that is alright. We were scheduled to close on Friday and the underwriters held things up, so late Friday they figured it out and we got the final go ahead. Sucks to be down to the wire like this and have that happened, but what can you do?

This is where we are at:

We are waiting on the closing, which is either 3:00 P.M. today or tomorrow morning depending on the mortgage company.

I am praying it will be today because we already giving notice, had to be out of our current town house this weekend.

How did we do this you ask? We rented the biggest Penske truck we could and put everything we own in it. Now it is sitting on the street waiting to be unloaded. We spent the night with our Pastor last night and are now officially homeless till we close. I don't like it, but here again, what can you do right?

Anyway, amidst mental and physical exhaustion I write you this update.

My good friend Sean and I loaded everything up yesterday and we finally finished at about 11:00 P.M.

Keep us in your prayers today and I will let you know if we close today as soon as I know!

A Batter Batter Swing Batter!

Jayden had his first official baseball game on Saturday and while he did not get a hit, he did have a good time playing. The only thing that bummed him out was the fact that he was last in the line up. Once he got over that it was all good. Finally, he won and is on a really good team with a great coach. I think the score was like 18 to 3 so he may not have hit, but he got to smell the sweet scent of victory!

I fought the law and I won?

I know I have used one in the past and yet I am baffled? How is it that we are able to purchase radar detectors legally in the open market. They are devices which allow us to beat the law, by detecting that they are trying to catch us breaking the law?

OK, so if I put a detector on the market that detected when police were going to raid a meth lab and started to sell it, I would be in jail faster than you could say Sudafed.

Finally, I am in awe of how far technology has come. The radar detectors are now used in conjunction with GPS to track you route to see common false alarm areas, track habitual stake outs, and to measure your speed to set sensitivity. Crazy

I have to put my foot down!

Alright look you can call me Cracka, but you can't call me Cracker!

Why Watch Heroes?

I have one question, why would anyone watch Heros when we have so many Godly heroes around us?

For instance Carlos Whittaker, this fine young man is as real as they come. Through his blog you can learn about current events, see what true discipleship looks like and really read about as transparent a guy your gonna find in blogisphere!

If you have not been to his blog I recommend you go cause I don't think enough people read his blog and he definitely does not post enough.

Finally, he rekindled the fire in us to move forward with our adoption process so we decided we are going to go to the Whitaker's house in Riverside and crash for a week with our new daughter and three boys. OK, so we have not been officially invited yet, but I am sure it will happen.

If not we will rent an RV and camp out front like cousin Eddie and have a couple of candle light vigils in honor of them.

If you get a chance visit Carlos and his amazing Blog he is a true encourager!

All I could see is Rob when he was a wee little one and think of Jared when he was two. Well I am sitting here while he sits on the couch with HIS GIRLFRIEND and wishing he was that age again. I love him so and really miss him jumping on my lap!

The Underdog No More!

I remember being a young man and riding my bike through the Apple parking lot, little did I know that I would be a Apple Guy. That said if you have not seen it Steve's Keynote address on the on Mac World 2007 is a must see. My favorite part is the introduction of the Iphone. Mainly because they did not get it and Steve had to repeat himself several times to get them to understand, phone, wide screen video player and internet device all in one not three separate devices. Here is the link,

The Prayer

Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen

I am not sure if you will recognize this second part of the prayer, but it seems to be the most often missed yet most relevant to my life.

The first half I am sure you can quote verbatim:
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

This is most commonly quoted in a such an anecdotal way that the true meaning of God's margin in our lives is often missed for some ho hum woo is me God grant me serenity because I can't do it feel sorry for me prayer. Truth is taking this sinful world as God has means loving when you don't want to, being patient when you have none and surrendering to God when you don't want to! Harsh, maybe, but I tend to be tough on myself. Oh, you thought I was talking to you?????

How could anyone be lonley?

OK, if you are feeling lonely I have the solution. Open an e-mail account and within hours you will have more friends than you know what to do with! Take me for instance. This morning I opened my Entourage and what to my surprise I had fifty e-mails from mid-night to today? Only two of them were junk and another hundred went into spam so the remaining 44 must be all my friends. I know what your thinking, boy is BMAC popular, right? Wrong, I actually have two that are actually wanted. Now to all of you advice givers out there, I am using Spam software, have my Entourage filter on High and can't change my e-mail address cause it is my name. So, I guess I will remain the popular guy I am for now and who knows I might just get a Prince from Egypt to ask me to hold his ten million dollars for him in exchange for a few million?

Mi Casa Su Casa

Well it is almost done, the only thing left is to put in the bathroom mirrors and clean up! I have to say I was so excited today as I walked through this Home it is such a Blessing. It is the first time I have ever owned a Brand New Home!

I know I have said this before, but compared with the cost of living we had grown so accustomed to in Oklahoma it is nothing short of a miracle that God has made the way for us to purchase a home in Florida. Besides many obvious obstacles He had to overcome, there was Homeowners Insurance in a state with multiple hurricanes in prior years! Then we have property taxes which are four to five times what they would be in Oklahoma, Ouch! Bottom line, God will never lead you where He can't keep you!

I am going to start a tab on my blog for reservations for all of you wanting to come and stay with us and enjoy the beach and weather, so reserve your slot now or you will be missing out! J/K

Here are a few pictures I will post more after we close next Friday! Oh yeah and the chandelier is not for sale that is Rachel's favorite feature of the house.

THE NEW ME?

OK, So I have been a little on the lame side when it comes to blogging. First, because my keyboard was jacked on the PowerBook and I had to replace it. Second, I had wanted to do a new template. It is almost done the only tab I have not completed yet is the photo tab, other than that I would like to know what all three of you that read my blog think? J/K Seriously, your feed back would be appreciated!

PURPLE RAIN

OK, So yes I sold programs at the Super Bowl from 4:00P.M. to 6:20P.M. and yes I did get to watch the Super Bowl for free in a seat in the Bears End Zone! It was an incredible experience and one I am going to repeat year after year! We are definitely going to Arizona next year and it will be here the year after. What can I say it was an incredible experience, even in the midst of the monsoon it was amazing. It is funny cause I went in cheering on the Bears and by half time it did not matter any more it was just the experience of being there. We saw a ton of celebrities, Todd and My brother Darin went with me. Todd and I had Alec and Billy Baldwin walk by us! Todd got into a spat with Alec it was hilarious, only Todd! Well, unfortunately I forgot my camera and took all the pictures with my phone and worse yet I messed up and had it set for the lowest possible quality picture, Sorry :-) Finally, Prince rocked that guy was incredible considering the fact that it was freezing and raining cats and dogs he was unfazed unbelievable. Well next year I wont forget my camera! Enjoy!

OK, so it is not the I-Phone, but it will tie me over till it actually does hit the streets! Basically, it is a theme for your Palm desktop that is now been all but removed from the Internet cause of the threat of a class action suit. If you are running palm software and want it let me know!

Who are you?

I saw a book once called Battlefield of the Mind and though I did not read it I thought to myself, "Yeah right what battlefield?" Funny thing is as I grow in my relationship with God I am starting to see that more and more I am the result of my thoughts, expectations and beliefs. I am starting to see that as I believe I become. As I believe in who I am in God's eyes, not the world's I grow. It is a constant battle for sure though. The world is constantly trying to pull you into defeat, poverty and despair. The enemy's goal is for you to quit, not moving backward just staying right where you are at in the mundane. God wants you and I to grow and go beyond. I was reading about favor and read to confess it in everything. So, I was like OK as kookie as I feel I am doing it. Well it is funny how even in the little things I saw the favor of God. I had a guy I deal with throughout the week and he is usually, "Not so nice" as Borat would say. Anyway, not only was he nice to me yesterday he went out of his way on TWO separate occasions to help me. Then to top it off he loaded my car for me? I thought, What the heck is that? And of course God answered me, He said that is favor my son! Well as you walk, work, shop and live remember it is not who you are that counts as much as WHOSE you are. I know I am not Abefroeman, The Sausage King of Chicago, I am the son of God!

Politics, Passion and Peeps

OK, so I am not the most political of creatures to start. That said I have a good friend "Todd" who will be a Congressman minimally and Governor eventually. Todd gets me involved in all these fun political events like Charlie Crist's pre-election party. Of course we have to stand and wave signs in front of all four television news networks including my favorite Univision. Finally, we get to go out and do sign blitzes at 1:30 A.M. It makes you feel like your sixteen again it is really cool. Then to top it off Katherine Harris waited to meet me (actually cause Todd asked her too, but who cares right?) at 11:30P.M. the night before the election which was really awesome! The bottom line watch for me on TV in the future as a campaign manager or legislative director of sign blitzer or something in the not to distant future!

THE GREAT EQUALIZERS

I love that in life there are equalizers. You know the things in life that no matter how rich or important you get you still have to deal with! Below is my top ten, if you have any better please share!

10. Death, yeah I know everyone has to die and even though you spend a million dollars on cryovacing yourself, your still dead!
9. Birth, as uncomfortable as it may going down that long tight hallway we all have to come out sooner or later!
8. Waking up, some later than others but here again sooner or later you got to wake up!
7. Getting Sick, ok you may be able to pay for all sorts of prevention, but yes this too will happen to you!
6. Farting, even though Donald Trump wipes his but with $100 bills he still lets them rip!
5. Poo, although we don't ever picture Oprah going with as much as she eats trust me she does.
4. Hair, now some people loose it, all will gain growth in places they don't want with age.
3. Boogers, Oh yeah you can be as stealth as you want to when picking them, we all know though cause we all do it! Maybe not all of us eat them?
2. Acne, cover it up, photo shop it, there is no denying that some time some where you had a zit!
1. Traffic, this is my personal favorite! There is nothing like looking over and seeing Mr. or Mrs. Fancy Pants late for the country club and getting all frustrated in their Rolls or Bentley.

Truth is, it is these "equalizers" that help me to see God really does have a sense of humor!

A SPONTANEOUS RECKONING

OK, So you want to talk about being spontaneous. Tuesday the 14th I pick up Jared early from school and drove to Orlando where we met up with my friend Brian Whalen. Brian is a good friend from High School. From there we drove to Jacksonville for the Days of Reckoning Tour and saw Pillar, Day of Fire, Decyfer Down and Showdown. It was cool cause I got to hang with Rob and the Boys from Pillar we had a blast! Also, we watched a great show cause they freakin rocked the house down!

I think the revelation for me came when I found myself in a mosh pit with my SON!!!!! Did I ever think the day would come when I would share the pit with my boy! Man do I feel old!

Well if that was not enough we did not get home till after 4AM and yes we were up at 630 for work! Now that reminded me of the old days of partying, without the hangover!

The pics did not come out to well sorry!

BY THE WAY IF YOU HAVE NOT PICKED UP THE NEW PILLAR ALBUM YOU ARE MISSING THE BEST ALBUM YOU WILL EVER HEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NOT TO MENTION THE FACT THAT THEY ROCKED, IF YOU CAN SEE THEM LIVE DO IT!!!!!!!!!!

TIME AFTER TIME

Where the heck does time go?

I mean I have it now but yeah there it goes again.

I can't truly believe all time goes into history?

Time has to go some where of signifigance, if not then what are we doing here?

I think the only thing that frustrates me to no end is having time then loosing it. I'll give you an example, I have my entire day planned out with plenty of margin and then KABOOM!!!! All H E double hockey sticks breaks looses and my whole plan is set back and I start playing the Superman game. You know that game you play where you pretend to be Superman and fly around town (office, you fill in the blank with what is applicable) at such a speed that you reverse the rotation of the Earth to turn back time and make up what you lost. And yet, I never seem to get the Earth to budge, not even an inch. Sucks!

Its not always this way though, the opposite is not remembering the what you did or why you did it, but hey who cares your driving home! Truth is when it is all said and done and you are 113 years old and about to die from a Jealous Husband what is important? Is it gonna matter you rushed or slothed along?

Why not try this today, drive five miles under the speed limit all day and see if you notice anything different.

Second take a walk today on your own for five minutes, you can stop for five minutes and walk, shut the Crackberry off, and walk!

Trust me we are not that important that a five minute walk or driving five minutes under the speed limit will cause the end of the world. It may change yours though?

Brothers Don't Shake Hands, Brothers Gotta Hug!

Talk about death inspiring life! True story watch the video it is awesome!

On May 19, 2001, the love of my life and my best friend finished her course here on Earth - my mother, Josephine Hunter. A day that began in sheer sadness ended in great joy because I realized that my mother had done exactly what God had required of her. She simply let everyone she came in contact with know that they matter. She was truly a friend to everyone, regardless of age, race, or gender.

What an amazing world it would be if we were known as people who have a smile and a kind word for everyone. No matter what our jobs are, perhaps the most important work we can do is to help and encourage others, especially by our actions. With constant threats targeted towards our morale and human spirit, kind and encouraging actions are needed to get us through our everyday situations, no matter how big or small they may be.

FREE HUGS will be the company that will always promote our two most sought after possessions, happiness and our sense of belonging. FREE HUGS will always consist of excellence in the development of leaders, action in the community, and service to customers.

So thank you for supporting FREE HUGS and always remember, we all need one.

Your Friend,

Jason Hunter

THE NUTTY BUDDY

DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME!

Why I don't watch soccer!

Hurry up and die!

I read a not so well known fact that if you place a toad in boiling water it will jump out. But if you put the same toad in a pot and slowly heat the water to a boil it will stay till it burns up. The world is like that, I was studying hurry this week and it seems that more often than not we are in a rush to get through something and suffer from Hurry Sickness.

Don't think you suffer from Hurry Sickness? Answer yes to any of these questions and you do.
1. Find yourself coming to a red light and studying the cars in front of you to choose a lane that will be the fastest based off of the color make and driver of the cars ahead?
2. In the grocery store you try to pick the line that will go the fastest by the number of people and the number of items each has? Then you mark the person where you would have been and you see if you choose right?
3. When people are talking to slowly you find yourself finishing their sentences? Maybe even verbally!

I think you get the picture here, Paul said "Don't let the world around you squeeze you into its own mold."
It makes me ask myself, "What are we in such a hurry for?" We hurry to work, we hurry to lunch, we hurry to get done with work, we hurry to get home, we hurry to eat dinner, we hurry to get to bed, we hurry till we are dead? I think we need to stop unplug and hurry less! If we look to Jesus he said, "Come away to a deserted place all by yourselves and rest a while." Stopping the hurry isn't easy, but I believe for many of us we put hurry in a place the Lord has reserved for Him, Joy and Family. Because society applauds busy and hurry we feel justified. Obviously this is just as much for me as you!
Bless

IN THE NAME OF BLOOD! ONE LOVE IN THE NAME OF BLOOD!

Oh man I spent three hours tonight in the woods with no Off and plenty of company with our flying little friends making Jack and me their last meal. Why you ask, well I sold pumpkins with Jackson for Cub Scouts and I have to say although we were supper for a rather large group of dying mosquitoes we had a ton of fun.
Also, my brother moved to West Palm, actually Delray Beach for all you hipster dufuses out there who know the difference and Jack and I went to help him. We had a blast, Drove through Ft. Myers, Naples, Alligator Alley and Miami. While we were there we went to the SOHO district for lunch and even fit in the beach it was gorgeous. Suffice it to say it was a great time for the both of us. Finally, coming back we went across the state on a little two lane highway (US60)and drove for an hour without seeing a soul it was nice. Jackson made a comment about how many more stars there were. I chuckled as if there were more there than any where. I tried to explain, oh well soon enough, soon enough!

THE TRULY DISCIPLINED

I have been doing a great Bible study of recent and came across this definition for "A Disciplined Follower of Jesus," Someone who discerns when laughter, gentleness, silence, healing words, or prophetic indignation is called for, and offers it promptly, effectively, and lovingly.

As this definition goes this is my wife! Rachel asked me the other day why I love her and I could not put it into words this well, but now that I have here ya go honey! I love you so much cause you discern when to laugh, to be gentle, silent, nurturing and profound then act on it quickly, effectively and in a loving manner!

YOU ROCK MY WORLD AND I LOVE YOU SO!
